We are currently only accepting entries for the online gallery, and for archival sake in the case that there are future books. For more information, see the FAQ here.

Submissions to the Kissybook Project must follow specific measurements. We ask that all submissions use this easy template accurately, for the best results in Kissybook.

	The image area is 8.5 inches by 8.5 inches. We ask that you draw on this page size or the equivalent. The final file size is 8.5"x8.5", at least 400DPI, in RGB colour, in TIF format.
	Please keep in mind that about a quarter-inch of the page (shown in pink) will be cut off for the final book size (8"x8"). Please draw right to the edges of the page, however make sure no important information are in the bleed area (pink), ie. the lips of your character.
	Draw your character either flush right or flush left (your choice!) with their lips approximately in the area marked in green -- in between 3.5" from the top of the page to 4.5" from the bottom of the page. This is to ensure that all the kisses line up!

This is the colour palette for all the kiss drawings.

All colouring of your drawing should be loosely based on the nine colours above. Blending and mixing these colours to make many different colours is fine. Because the contents of the book will be so varied, this is the only aesthetic device that will be used to unify the book.

Please also note that the centre line on the template is where the book will be bound, so it would also be best to avoid any major details in this area to avoid them being split. We do encourage you to use the space past the centre line as needed, as to not cut off any of your character's appendages or accessories, or limit their cranial capacity.

Be creative! While the examples shown above are quite plain, Kissybook will be as diverse as you can make it. Feel free to play around with scale, style, and character depiction.

* note that to use these, you must re-configure your printer's settings to print lined-up and at 100%.

There are a few rules and things we'd like to clear up before you submit. The Kissybook Project is, after all, a not-for-profit art project, and we'd like to ensure that everyone's rights are clear and fair.
